Two Punjabi-Origin Sisters Win Elections in Kelkheim, Germany

In Kelkheim, a city in Hesse, two sisters of Punjabi origin achieved a remarkable victory in the elections held on March 15.
According to reports, both sisters from the same family secured wins during the elections, creating a moment of pride and celebration.
Harpreet Kaur won a resounding victory for the second time in the Foreigners’ City Council. Alongside this, she also secured a seat in the City Council.
Meanwhile, her sister Komalpreet Kaur marked her entry into politics by winning a seat in the Foreigners’ City Council for the first time.
The victories have brought joy to the family, while members of the Punjabi community and supporters have extended their congratulations.
