Pakistan- Punjab Counter Narcotics Force Arrests 73 Drug Dealers in 70 Operations Across Punjab

The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) carried out 70 successful intelligence-based operations across Punjab during the last 10 days, arresting 73 drug dealers. A large quantity of narcotics and weapons was also recovered during the raids.
255 Kilograms of Drugs Worth Rs 42 Million Recovered
According to the spokesperson for the Punjab Counter Narcotics Force, a total of 255 kilograms of drugs were seized during the operations, with an estimated value of approximately Rs 42 million.
The recovered narcotics included:
230 kilograms of hashish
13 kilograms of opium
3 kilograms of ice (crystal meth)
9 kilograms of cannabis
250 grams of heroin
20 Weapons Also Seized
Authorities  also recovered 20 weapons from the possession of the accused, including:
15 pistols
2 SMGs (submachine guns)
3 rifles
Over 21.7 Tons of Drugs Recovered Since August 2025
The Director General of the Punjab Counter Narcotics Force stated that since August 2025, the force has recovered a total of 21.7 tons of narcotics, with an estimated value exceeding Rs 2.35 billion.
Zero-Tolerance Policy Against Drug Trafficking
He said that, on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a zero-tolerance policy against drug traffickers is being strictly enforced across the province.
He further added that operations will continue without interruption to eliminate the menace of drugs from society, and efforts will be intensified further until the target is fully achieved.
