Forman Olympiad 2025–26 Opens with Grand Ceremony at FCCU

LAHORE – Nazrana Times Bureau report May 11, 2026 – The Opening Ceremony of the Forman Olympiad 2025–26 was held today at the FCCU Main Ground, marking the commencement of one of the season’s most anticipated inter-university sporting events.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Kamil Shamshad, Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Head of the University Sports Office. In his inspiring address, Mr. Shamshad emphasized the vital role of sports participation in holistic student development and motivated the gathered athletes to give their best in the competitions ahead.

This year’s Olympiad has brought together more than 1,000 participants from over 15 universities across Pakistan. Athletes will compete in 14 different games, with events for both male and female participants, including athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, table tennis, lawn tennis, and volleyball, among others.
The successful organization of the event reflects the dedicated efforts of the University Sports Office in promoting sports and creating platforms for young athletes to showcase their talent. 

The university also extended sincere appreciation to the Forman Sports Society for their valuable contributions, as well as the unwavering support staff whose collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful execution of the ceremony.
