Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Welcomes Restoration of Management Board of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib

Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj, has welcomed the restoration of the management board of Takht Sachkhand Sri Abichalnagar Hazur Sahib.
He said that the Sikh Takhts and institutions are the sacred trusts of the Khalsa Panth and their management should remain in the hands of the Sikh community, functioning independently and autonomously.
Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj expressed hope that there would be no government or external interference in Sikh institutions anywhere. He said that if any such interference takes place, it is the fundamental responsibility of Sikhs to struggle against it and ensure that the management is brought back into Panthic hands.
The Jathedar congratulated the Sikhs who had struggled to secure the restoration of the management board of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib in accordance with the sentiments of the Sikh community.
He further said that Sikhs should work for the Chardi Kala (high spirits) of their religious shrines and institutions with a sense of love and respect. He emphasised that the management of gurdwaras must be conducted in accordance with Gurmat (the teachings of the Sikh Gurus), and governments should refrain from any form of interference in their affairs.
