Honorary Consulate of Hungary Inaugurated in Punjab, Strengthening International Cooperation and Interfaith Harmony

Lahore, June 20, Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of Hungary in Punjab. The event was attended by H.E. Zoltan Varga, Ambassador of Hungary to Pakistan, Honorary Consul General Ghulam Dastagir, Home Secretary Punjab, and diplomatic representatives from various countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Government is actively promoting interfaith harmony, religious tolerance, and the welfare of minority communities, initiatives that are receiving international recognition.


Ambassador Zoltan Varga appreciated the Punjab Government's efforts for the protection of minority rights, promotion of religious freedom, social inclusion, and interfaith harmony. He expressed keen interest in enhancing cooperation in the fields of minority welfare, education, social development, and cultural exchanges.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen diplomatic, educational, cultural, and social ties between Pakistan and Hungary. Participants emphasized that international partnerships would create new opportunities for cooperation and contribute to the mutual development of both countries.
Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora remarked that the establishment of the Honorary Consulate of Hungary in Punjab would play a significant role in promoting bilateral relations, people-to-people contacts, and shared development objectives between the two countries.
