Pakistan, Egypt Vow to Deepen Strategic and Economic Cooperation

Cairo (Nazrana Times  Beuro| Egypt):
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, met with His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the Itihadia Presidential Palace in Cairo.
During their meeting, both leaders discussed a wide range of issues concerning bilateral relations and reaffirmed the deep-rooted friendship between Pakistan and Egypt.
General Asim Munir praised Egypt’s leadership for its pivotal role in ensuring peace and stability in the Middle East and North Africa. President el-Sisi, in turn, appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and proactive role in regional and global matters, particularly in advancing the interests of the Muslim Ummah.
Both dignitaries underscored the importance of close coordination on strategic interests and emphasized the need to strengthen people-to-people ties. They also agreed to expand cooperation in socio-economic development, technology, and security sectors.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing confidence that the enhanced dialogue and partnership would further contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity in Pakistan, Egypt, and the wider region.
