The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Government of Pakistan, has posted a historic performance for the fiscal year 2024–25, recording its highest-ever income of Rs. 5.65 billion—up from Rs. 4.72 billion in 2023–24 and Rs. 3.42 billion in 2022–23, marking a remarkable increase of Rs. 925 million. The Board also reclaimed 6,578 acres, 9 kanals, and 7 marlas of trust land valued at Rs. 74 billion from illegal occupation, alongside recovering Rs. 1.02 billion in outstanding rents from defaulters across its seven zones.

Zone-wise recoveries included Nankana at Rs. 266.1 million, Rawalpindi Rs. 214.8 million, Multan Rs. 185.3 million, Karachi Rs. 161.5 million, Lahore Rs. 77.5 million, Gujranwala Rs. 60.8 million, Faisalabad Rs. 36.7 million, and Islamabad Rs. 18.4 million.

Secretary Fareed Iqbal attributed the success to digital reforms, strict enforcement actions, and active field operations under his direct supervision. Backed by ETPB Chairman Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chauhan’s leadership and strategic foundations laid by Dr. Syed Ata ur Rehman, the Board’s performance reflects the government’s commitment to safeguarding public assets. With support from the FIA under Supreme Court directives, the ETPB continues to set new benchmarks in accountability, transparency, and public service delivery.
