The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) organized a special Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Tila Sahib, Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh), dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami deputed SGPC Secretary of Dharam Parchar Committee, S. Balwinder Singh Kahlaon, and SGPC Media Secretary S. Harbhajan Singh Vakta, who participated especially in the Samagam.

On this occasion, S. Balwinder Singh Kahlaon shared his thoughts with the Sangat. The Hazuri Ragi Jatha of Bhai Gurmeet Singh from Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib, Delhi, and the Ragi Jatha of Bibi Manjeet Kaur connected the Sangat with Gurbani Kirtan.

In his address, S. Balwinder Singh Kahlaon said that Nagar Kirtans and Gurmat Samagams are being organized across the country to spread awareness about Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s martyrdom anniversary, and this effort will continue. Bhai Brijpal Singh, in-charge of UP Sikh Mission Hapur, thanked the Sangat and personalities who supported the Samagam.

Prominent attendees included Baba Satnam Singh (Kar Sewa Delhi), S. Harbans Singh, Giani Mohan Singh (Mathura), S. Swarn Singh, Shri Malik Arora, S. Surinder Singh Bath, Giani Harpal Singh, Giani Mahinder Singh, S. Mohar Singh, S. Harvinder Singh, S. Gurmail Singh (Gurdwara Inspector), and others.

It is noteworthy that Gurdwara Sri Guru Nanak Tila Sahib (Mathura) holds historical significance, as Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited Vrindavan during His first Udasi and stayed at this site, which today stands as a living symbol of Sikh history. Here, Guru Nanak Sahib imparted the true purpose of life and inspired devotees to live a spiritual life through remembrance of God.
