Imran Khan: “No Deal, Only Courts Will Decide My Release”

Imran Khan Rules Out Deal, Stresses Dialogue for Democracy

Rawalpindi, Nazrana Times(Ali Imran Chattha)

Pakistan former Prime Minister of Pakistan & Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has reiterated that his release will only come through legal means and not through any political deal, while emphasizing that dialogue remains the only way forward for resolving the country’s political challenges.

This was disclosed by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan after meeting the party founder along with Zahoor Abbas Chaudhry at Adiala Jail. The meeting, which lasted around 15–20 minutes, focused on party affairs, upcoming political activities, and the recent flood crisis.

According to Barrister Gohar, Imran Khan stated that he had been striving for dialogue over the past three years, underlining that meaningful talks should aim at strengthening democracy and addressing national issues rather than securing individual benefits.

Rejecting the notion of any secret arrangement, the PTI founder made it clear that “no deal” was under consideration, and that his release would only be achieved through the courts. He also dismissed speculation about divisions within the party, insisting that PTI remains united.

The meeting also touched upon preparations for a major political rally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Barrister Gohar explained that while preparations had been delayed due to ongoing floods, efforts were still underway.

Imran Khan expressed deep grief and sorrow over the plight of flood victims across the country. He directed PTI leaders and workers to extend maximum support and assistance to those affected, stressing that the party must stand with the people during this humanitarian crisis.
