Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan proceeds from Sagar (Bhagwan Ganj) to Bhopal

As part of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan, which began from Gurdwara Dhoabri Sahib in Assam under the auspices of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), today departed from Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sagar (Bhagwan Ganj) for its next destination — Gurdwara Nanaksar Sahib, Bhopal.
Before the Nagar Kirtan’s departure, a religious congregation was held at Gurdwara Sahib, where the Hazuri Raagi Jatha of Sri Darbar Sahib recited Gurbani Kirtan. Singh Sahib Giani Rajdeep Singh, Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, addressed the sangat, sharing episodes from the life and sacrifice of the Ninth Guru.
On this occasion, the Gurdwara management honored the Panj Piare, Nishanchi Singhs, and distinguished personalities present with Siropao (robes of honor). The Nagar Kirtan, dedicated to the 350th Shaheedi anniversary, is witnessing great enthusiasm among the Sangat, with warm welcomes and floral tributes being offered at various stops along the route.
Last night, upon the Nagar Kirtan’s arrival in Sagar, MLA Shri Sel Inder Jain and MLA of Raheli constituency Pandit Gopal Sahiraigo, along with their supporters, warmly welcomed the procession and expressed reverence towards Guru Sahib.
Among those present were SGPC’s Additional Secretary S. Jaswinder Singh Jassi, Incharge S. Palwinder Singh, Additional Manager S. Gurtinderpal Singh Kadian, S. Amarjit Singh Jindwari, Bhai Baldev Singh Ogra (Incharge Sikh Mission Ujjain), S. Harbhajan Singh Supervisor, Bhai Gurpreet Singh (Assistant Manager), S. Surjit Singh, Parcharak Bhai Gagandeep Singh, Bhai Gurpinder Singh, Bhai Santokh Singh, Bhai Veer Singh, along with a large number of devotees.
