Pakistan a Global Symbol of Peace and Interfaith Harmony, Says Ramesh Singh Arora at Lahore Conference

Lahore, May 10 (Nazrana Times): Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora has said that Pakistan has emerged as a global symbol of peace, stability, and interfaith harmony, while the policies of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are increasingly drawing criticism and embarrassment for India on the international stage.
Addressing the “Maarka-e-Haq Bunyān-un-Marsoos and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Conference” held at Town Hall Lahore, he stated that minorities in India continue to face discrimination and insecurity, whereas in Pakistan, people belonging to all faiths enjoy freedom, protection, and equal rights under a united national framework.

He said every Pakistani stands ready to defend the country’s sovereignty and security, adding that national unity remains Pakistan’s greatest strength against hostile designs.
Ramesh Singh Arora remarked that India has consistently attempted to fuel tension and hatred in the region, while Pakistan continues to play the role of a responsible and peace-loving state in the international community. “Our enemy may be deceptive and hostile, but the people of Pakistan are fully aware of every conspiracy and possess the resolve and capability to respond effectively,” he said.
The conference was chaired by Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan and Khateeb of Badshahi Mosque, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad. A large number of senior civil and police officials, religious scholars, social leaders, and representatives of minority communities attended the event.

Among the prominent participants were Maryam Khan, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Muhammad Faisal Kamran, Bishop Nadeem Kamran, Allama Zubair Ahmad Zaheer, Mufti Dr Intikhab Noori and several other religious and social personalities.
At the conclusion of the conference, Ramesh Singh Arora and other participants joined hands to express complete solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan, waved the national flag, and reaffirmed their commitment to the country’s defence, stability, and sovereignty. The hall echoed with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Armed Forces Paindabad,” followed by special prayers for Pakistan’s security, unity of the Muslim Ummah, and the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine.
