Hajj Training Program for Women Organized in Lahore

Lahore (Nazrana Times): Under the Harim Forum Trust, Jamaat-e-Islami District Lahore organized a Hajj and Umrah Master Training Program for women intending to perform Hajj. The session was conducted by Mrs. Gul Hashmi (In-charge, Harim Forum Desk District Lahore), along with Hajj master trainers Yasmeen Iftikhar and Kaneez Fatima.

They provided detailed training on the proper (Sunnah-based) method of performing Hajj and Umrah, women-specific issues, etiquette of the Haramain (the sacred mosques), congregational prayers, Friday prayer, and funeral prayer. They emphasized that acquiring proper knowledge enables one to attain spiritual purity, reward, and the pleasure of Allah. Hajj itself represents transformation.

They further explained how to bring positive change after Hajj. Hajj teaches the concept of a united Ummah, where Muslims from every country and region proclaim with one voice: “Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik” (Here I am, O Allah, here I am). This reflects submission to Allah and recognition that the entire universe belongs to Him and His system should prevail.

Hajj is also a lesson in discipline. The patience, tolerance, and discipline learned in the House of Allah must be carried into daily life. One should strive to eliminate falsehood, deceit, fraud, corruption, and dishonesty from society, while promoting patience, kindness, sacrifice, and good character through personal example. The spirit of Hajj should be maintained throughout life.
A large number of women actively participated in the training session and benefited from the awareness provided.
