Pakistan Ready to Welcome Sikh Yatrees with Full Security and Hospitality

Indian Sikh yatrees will arrive in Pakistan via the Wahga Border tomorrow, April 10, to participate in the Vaisakhi Mela and the 327th Khalsa Janam Din (birth anniversary) celebrations organised by the Evacuee Trust Property Board.
They will stay in Pakistan until April 19, visiting Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hasan Abdal, Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, and other sacred sites.

Additional Secretary of Shrines, Nasir Mushtaq, stated that under the directives of the federal government and the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Qamar uz Zaman, comprehensive arrangements for security, accommodation, food, and travel facilities have been made for the arriving Sikh pilgrims. The Evacuee Trust Property Board will ensure high standards of hospitality.
Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board Qamar uz Zaman, Pradhan of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Ramesh Singh Rora, Additional Secretary of Shrines Nasir Mushtaq, along with provincial ministers and senior officials, will welcome the Indian Sikh yatrees at the Wahga Border.

The Sikh pilgrims will be taken in three separate bus convoys under tight security to Gurdwara Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib. During their stay there, they will visit various gurdwaras in Nankana Sahib and Sacha Sauda, Farooqabad. Afterwards, the yatrees will depart for Hasan Abdal on April 12, where the main ceremony will be held on April 14.
The Sikh pilgrims will arrive at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, Narowal, on April 15. After staying there, they will visit Gurdwara Rohri Sahib, Eminabad, on April 17, and then arrive in Lahore. They will stay at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore, on April 18. Upon completion of the visit, they will return via the Wahga Border on April 19.
