ISLAMABAD (Nazrana Times): India has invited Pakistan’s Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Civilisational Dialogue Forum in New Delhi in November 2026, according to media reports citing diplomatic sources.

Forum Scheduled for November 20–22

The latest reports give the forum’s dates as November 20–22. The event is expected to bring together representatives of all 10 SCO member states to promote cultural exchange, shared heritage and understanding between civilisations.

Pakistan’s Participation Remains Unconfirmed

Pakistan has not yet confirmed whether Khichi will attend or whether another representative will be nominated.

If Khichi participates, it would mark the first visit by a Pakistani minister to India since Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended the SCO foreign ministers’ meeting in Goa in May 2023.

While the invitation has been reported by several news outlets, Pakistan’s attendance remains subject to official confirmation.
