PTI Launches Door-to-Door Campaign in Lahore for Imran Khan’s Release: Shayan Bashir Leads Media Outreach

!Shayan Bashir, In-charge of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Provincial Media Cell, led a door-to-door campaign across various areas of Lahore Cantonment including Maryam Colony, Bhatta Chowk, and nearby streets and marketplaces. The campaign is part of a broader protest movement calling for the release of former Prime Minister and PTI founder, Imran Khan.

Accompanied by PTI workers, Bashir distributed posters and pamphlets featuring Imran Khan’s public message. The team also engaged with local residents to spread awareness about the PTI manifesto.

While speaking to media representatives, Shayan Bashir criticized the current government, stating, “This Form-47 hybrid regime is disconnected from public support and has no plan or agenda for the welfare of the people. Instead of serving the nation, they are pushing them into the depths of inflation.”

He further added that the ruling coalition, comprising the Pakistan Peoples Party, the PML-N, and other parties, is united solely by its animosity towards Imran Khan. “Due to their failed internal policies, incidents of terrorism are rising daily in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan,” he said.

Highlighting the burden of inflation, Bashir noted, “Electricity prices have skyrocketed, making it impossible for the common man to pay bills. Across Pakistan, earning a halal livelihood for even two meals a day has become a struggle. Meanwhile, our rulers continue to enjoy luxuries funded by IMF and World Bank loans.”

Commenting on the political situation in Punjab, he stated that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is attempting to take full control of the province through superficial development projects and promotional campaigns. “The opposition is being hindered from playing its constitutional role so that the truth does not reach the public,” he said.

Shayan Bashir concluded by expressing confidence in PTI’s return to power: “With the support of the people, Imran Khan will soon be back as Prime Minister, and a new era of public service will begin.”
