Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala Welcomes Statement of Babbar Khalsa Chief Bhai Wadhawa Singh Babbar, Demands Action Against CAT Kanwarjit Misusing Babbar Khalsa’s Name

Amritsar, July 27(Nazrana Times Network)

Former President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwale, Jathedar Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala, while commenting on the recent statement of Jarnail Bhai Wadhawa Singh Babbar, Chief of Babbar Khalsa International, stated that immediate and strict action must be taken against those who are misusing the name of Babbar Khalsa to threaten, attack, or extort innocent people and Panthic (community-oriented) Sikhs. He emphasized that such misuse maligns the image of militant organizations and discredits the Sikh struggle, pushing the community toward internal conflict.

Bhai Gopala appreciated Bhai Wadhawa Singh Babbar’s statement and welcomed it, but he also insisted that further steps are now essential. He asserted that those misusing the names of Babbar Khalsa and other militant organizations will not stop with just one statement – they need to be firmly restrained.

He hoped that the leaders of Khalistani-oriented militant organizations will recognize the gravity of the situation and fulfill their Panthic duty in a timely manner.

Bhai Gopala specifically drew attention to an individual named Kanwarjit Singh (USA), calling him a police informant (CAT) and agent of the Indian government, who has allegedly been:

  • Repeatedly threatening Sikh activists,

  • Humiliating the daughters of martyrs,

  • Writing letters to Indian Home Minister Amit Shah,

  • Defaming martyrs and militant warriors,

  • Targeting Damdami Taksal.

Gopala declared that no self-respecting Sikh will tolerate such actions. He described Kanwarjit Singh as a two-faced traitor, already exposed for his schemes and manipulations. He called for Kanwarjit’s mask to be removed and for him to be brought before the Sikh community’s judgment.

He further alleged that Kanwarjit Singh, using gangsters and his network, poses a threat to the lives of several prominent Sikh figures, including:

  • Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu (a general of the Sikh struggle),

  • Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal (National President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwale),

  • Senior Meet President Bhai Bhupinder Singh 6 June,

  • Bibi Kiranjot Kaur Khalsa (daughter of Shaheed Bhai Balwinder Singh Pannjola),

  • Bhai Jarnail Singh Jalandhar (uncle of Bhai Gurmeet Singh Engineer, one of the men involved in punishing Beant Singh, the former Chief Minister of Punjab).

He warned that Kanwarjit Singh, as an Indian government agent, could cause serious harm to these Panthic personalities.

Gopala also remembered that due to such informants, several key figures like:

  • Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar,

  • Bhai Gurjant Singh Budhsinghwala,

  • General Labh Singh,

  • Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochahal,
were martyred. Even now, Bhai Paramjit Singh Panjwar, Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar, and Bhai Avtar Singh Khanda have been assassinated, and now Kanwarjit Singh (USA) is allegedly plotting to harm more Panthic leaders.

In conclusion, Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala stated:

“Every individual fighting for Khalistan is honorable to us. We deeply respect the militant organizations and consider the martyrs as our heroes. The Khalistan struggle has been a united fight by organizations like Damdami Taksal, Sikh Students Federation, Babbar Khalsa, Khalistan Commando Force, Khalistan Liberation Force, Bhindranwale Tiger Force, Panthic Committee, Khalistan Army Force, etc.

He reminded everyone that:

  • Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale always treated the Babbar Khalsa members like brothers and even armed them,

  • Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochahal shared both tributes and ideals with Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar during his martyrdom.

He appealed that this unity should always be preserved.
