Ombudsman Praises LESCO as Role Model for Public Utilities

Federal Ombudsman Secretariat Honors LESCO for Outstanding Complaint Resolution

The Federal Ombudsman Secretariat has formally recognized the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) for its swift and effective compliance with the office's directives, setting a benchmark for other public utilities.
Director General Riaz Hamid Chaudhry presented a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative shield to LESCO CEO Muhammad Ramzan Butt at a ceremony held at the Secretariat. The recognition was conferred on the directives of Federal Ombudsman Naveed Kamran Baloch and Regional Office Lahore's Member Incharge Waqas Ali Mehmood.
"Such exemplary implementation of the Federal Ombudsman's rulings is unprecedented in the history of this institution," DG Chaudhry remarked. He added that LESCO's performance is a role model for other institutions.
In his address, CEO Butt reiterated LESCO's commitment to prioritizing consumer relief and resolving public grievances on an urgent basis. Senior functional heads and other officials attended the ceremony.
