Karamat Ali Shaikh, Secretary General of MQM Pakistan (Punjab), has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Rangers Headquarters in Karachi, stating that anti-state elements have resorted to cowardly acts to sabotage Pakistan's peace, stability, and progress. However, the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces, Rangers, police, and law enforcement agencies like a wall of lead.
In his condemnation statement, Karamat Ali Shaikh said that such attacks cannot dampen the nation's morale; rather, they further strengthen the national resolve against terrorism. He paid tribute to the personnel martyred in the attack, saying that those who sacrifice their lives for the homeland are our true heroes, and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
He stated that Pakistan's enemies are resorting to proxy terrorism to achieve their nefarious goals, but the Pakistani nation possesses the full capability to defeat all forms of terrorism. He emphasized that there can be no compromise on national security, and indiscriminate action against terrorists, their facilitators, and patrons must continue.
Karamat Ali Shaikh prayed for the elevation of the martyrs' ranks, the swift recovery of the injured, and patience for the affected families, adding that the entire nation stands with them in this hour of grief. He appealed to the public to demonstrate unity, solidarity, and national cohesion, and to immediately report any suspicious activity to law enforcement agencies to thwart the nefarious designs of anti-state elements.
He reiterated MQM Pakistan's commitment to standing side by side with state institutions against terrorism and continuing to play its full role for Pakistan's peace, stability, and security.
