On Sunday, a grand gathering of all Village Councils of Malikdin Khel was held at the hujra of Maulana Mushtaq Pewari in Kohi. The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and soon transformed into a large-scale public assembly owing to massive participation.

The historic gathering was attended by Ameer JUI Khyber District Maulana Hazrat Khan Muneeb, JUI FATA Finance Secretary and Senior Vice Ameer of Khyber District Haji Shamsuddin Afridi (former candidate PK-71), and MPA on a reserved seat Sardar Baba Gurpal Singh as chief guests.

Other notable participants included JUI District Information Secretary Muhammad Anwar, Deputy Finance Secretary Maulana Shafiq, Mufti Farooq, Mufti Zar Muhammad, Qari Bismillah, Maulana Imran, Maulana Rehan, Syed Ismatullah, Qari Umer Taj, Chairmen Amjad and Niamatullah, Malik Sohbat Khan, Dr. Irfan, Maulana Zar Wali, Maulana Saddam Hussain Haqqani, Maulana Arshad Haqqani, Maulana Saad Haqqani, Mufti Khanzada, Maulana Najeebullah, Maulana Farmanullah, Mena Naak Afridi, Akhtar Nawaz, Shamsul Haq, and Maulana Qari Mushtaq, along with all VC chiefs and organizers, respected ulema, teachers, students, traders, and people from various walks of life.

Call for Unity

Speakers emphasized the importance of avoiding internal disputes on social media and resolving them strictly through party platforms. They reiterated the party’s organizational structure: Village Council committees under the Tehsil body, Tehsil under District, District under FATA, and FATA under the Central JUI. It was stressed that if any organizational decision is not implemented, the higher body has the constitutional right to form committees and take action, including suspension or reinstatement.

The participants agreed that issuing dissenting statements to the media or defying party decisions damages the party’s integrity and violates its constitution.

Tribal Honors and Flag Ceremony

During the gathering, the elders of Malikdin Khel paid tribute to JUI’s services and honored the distinguished guests with traditional tribal gifts:

Maulana Hazrat Khan Muneeb and Haji Shamsuddin Afridi were presented with traditional lungis (shawls).

MPA Sardar Baba Gurpal Singh was honored with an Ajrak (Sindhi shawl) as a token of respect.

In addition, the elders raised the Flag of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, which infused the gathering with spiritual and emotional fervor.

Announcements for Future Initiatives

Haji Shamsuddin Afridi proposed organizing a Khatm-e-Nabuwwat and JUI Message Conference, which received unanimous approval from all participants. It was announced that this grand conference would be held soon.

Other commitments included focusing on development works at the VC level, compiling data of disabled persons to resolve their issues through Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and welfare institutions, forming sports teams at the VC level, and preparing a list of at least ten Ansar-ul-Islam volunteers in each VC to ensure timely assistance for their needs.

Concluding Prayers

The meeting concluded with a collective prayer led by elders of all Village Councils of Malikdin Khel, seeking peace, prosperity, and the success of the party.
