Punjab Finance Minister Joins Traders in Celebrating Birthday of Former PM Nawaz Sharif in Lahore

Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman today joined the trader community of Gulberg in cutting the birthday cake of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, at a local hotel in Gulberg III, Lahore.
Addressing the ceremony, the Finance Minister offered prayers for the good health, well-being and long life of former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that Nawaz Sharif’s contributions to Pakistan are historic and unforgettable. He recalled that under his leadership Pakistan emerged as a nuclear power, landmark projects such as the motorway network were launched, concrete steps were taken to overcome the energy crisis, and the country was steered towards economic stability.
Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman stated that the mega development projects witnessed across Pakistan today are a reflection of the vision, foresight and leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is actively implementing his elder brother’s vision, while Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif is successfully carrying forward her father’s people-centric development agenda in the province.
The Finance Minister added that the present leadership is fully committed to the agenda of national service, sustainable development and economic prosperity, and is taking all segments of society, including the business and trader community, along in the journey towards new milestones of progress for Pakistan.
