Pakistan’s Key Government Buildings to Glow Pink on October 19 and 20 for Pinktober Campaign

Major government buildings in Pakistan, including the President’s Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Parliament House and Cabinet Secretariat, will be illuminated in pink on the evenings of October 19 and 20. The initiative is being undertaken on the directions of First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari as part of Pinktober, the annual breast cancer awareness campaign.

The initiative aims to raise public awareness about breast cancer, highlight the importance of early detection and encourage people to seek timely medical consultation.

The buildings will remain illuminated in pink from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on both evenings. The initiative seeks to reinforce the message that greater awareness and early diagnosis can save lives.
