The first session of the Prime Youth Parliament took place at Peshawar Council Hall, with minority MPA from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Baba Ji Gopal Singh, attending as the chief guest.

In his keynote address, Gopal Singh described youth as the future of Pakistan, stressing that their education, guidance, and commitment to humanitarian service will determine the country’s progress. Referring to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he said Pakistan’s future must be built on the founder’s ideals. He reminded participants that young people were at the forefront of the Pakistan Movement and must once again take responsibility for leading the nation toward prosperity.

He further noted that JUI leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman wishes to see the younger generation equipped with education, a spirit of progress, and public service. Singh pledged that whenever his party is in power, it will create opportunities for youth in employment, education, healthcare, and development.

Encouraging the young delegates, he urged them to prioritize education, dedicate themselves to serving humanity, and take an active role in national responsibilities. He assured full support for the Prime Youth Parliament, promising even to present its resolutions in the provincial assembly so that the voice of the youth may be heard at the legislative level.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, representatives of the Youth Parliament expressed their gratitude and presented a commemorative shield to Baba Ji Gopal Singh.
