Mian Abdul Waheed Awarded Honorary Doctorate for Promoting Peace

Chairman of the National Peace and Justice Council, Mian Abdul Waheed, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by a U.S.-based university in recognition of his services in promoting interfaith harmony, peace, and social cohesion.
Under his leadership, the council has been actively organizing peace conferences across the country, from union council to national level, aimed at eliminating sectarianism and fostering a culture of tolerance. He has also initiated various programs in different provinces to strengthen interfaith harmony.
According to social circles, this honor is a recognition of his long-standing political and social struggle, during which he has played a significant role in promoting peace, justice, and brotherhood in society.
