PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Qatar for Official Visit

DOHA – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha, Qatar, on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional peace.
Upon arrival at Doha International Airport, the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation were warmly received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Qatari Armed Forces presented a guard of honor to welcome the visiting dignitaries.
To mark the occasion, Doha Airport and the city’s main thoroughfares were adorned with Pakistani flags, reflecting the deep fraternal ties between the two nations.


During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a one-on-one meeting with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The two leaders will discuss matters of mutual interest and review Pakistan’s ongoing efforts for regional and global peace.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for International Media, Musharraf Zaidi.
