King Abdullah II Arrives in Pakistan for Two-Day Visit to Bolster Bilateral Ties

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Islamabad today for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, marking a significant step in reinforcing the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Pakistan and Jordan.
The Jordanian monarch was warmly received at the airport by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Climate Change Musaddiq Malik, and Minister of State for Education Wajiha Qamar, alongside a high-level delegation.
Shortly after arrival, King Abdullah II will proceed to the Prime Minister’s House, where he will be accorded a ceremonial guard of honour, to be broadcast live on Pakistan Television.
The King is scheduled to hold one-on-one talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, followed by delegation-level discussions aimed at expanding cooperation in political, economic, and cultural domains.
This visit underscores the enduring brotherhood between the two nations and is expected to open new avenues for enhanced bilateral collaboration.
