US House of Representatives Honors Sikh Leader Jasdeep Singh Jassi

Washington, June 14 (Gaurav Madiya): Prominent Sikh leader and social worker Jasdeep Singh Jassi has been specially honored by the United States House of Representatives for his outstanding humanitarian services to Sikh-Americans and the wider community.
The recognition was presented in the U.S. Congress by Congressman Jonathan L. Jackson of Illinois, and this historic achievement has been officially recorded in the proceedings of the 119th Congress. Congressman Jackson praised Jasdeep Singh Jassi’s decades-long contributions and formally submitted a Congressional tribute in his honor.
For more than three decades, Jasdeep Singh Jassi has served as a visionary leader and entrepreneur in diverse fields, including healthcare, humanitarian services, non-profit organizations, petroleum marketing, real estate, and international consulting. In recognition of his sustained commitment to public service and humanitarian work, his name has been entered into the official records of the U.S. Congress.
Currently, Jassi serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Center for Social Change, where he plays a significant role in providing housing, vocational training, mental health support, and social development programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In addition, he serves as the Chairman of Sikhs of America, an organization through which he has worked tirelessly to strengthen the voice and identity of Sikh-Americans, promote interfaith harmony, encourage cultural understanding, and help immigrant communities integrate into mainstream society.
During his remarks, Congressman Jonathan L. Jackson urged his fellow lawmakers to recognize Jasdeep Singh Jassi’s remarkable contributions in healthcare leadership, support for people with disabilities, non-profit service, immigrant engagement, entrepreneurship, and religious tolerance.
He stated that Jassi’s life represents an inspiring example of selfless service beyond personal achievement and has brought great pride and recognition to the Sikh community across the United States.
